Super Bowl Ad

1. The Super Bowl 2016 ad I found most interesting was "Restricted Bling." The ad was talking about T-Mobile and promoting how they don't charge hidden fees like other carriers. This ad was entertaining to me because it used modern day relations to make a point and made it funny using celebrities. 
2. "Robot Razors" By Shick was the most boring to me. It had nice graphics and everything, but it was kind of old to me and didn't have many entertaining aspects to it. 
3. The thing that made "Restricted Blind" the most effective was the use of Celebrity appearance. They added Drake and related the ad to his song "Hotline Bling." This made it easier to connect with and understand all of the jokes. 
4. "Robot Razors" wasn't really effective because they didn't have anything to really connect with. It was an ad talking about their product, but it didn't catch any interest with me because of the way it was made.
5. Restricted Bling included the celebrity Drake. I think this helped the commercial very much. I think this helped because it made it easier to connect with a person we know about and understand the comedy.
6. Shick's ad used empty space to show how small the razor was and to give space for the title and make it look more professional. This ad also used color contrast for the title of the ad to the background to make it stand out better. T-Mobile's ad uses shapes like a square in the background to make a relation to the original Hotline Bling song. It also uses color scheme when using the backdrop to make Drake stand out more. 

Business Intro

My business would be a company that you would be able to commission graphic design work from. The company would have a team of Graphic Designers on stand by and you can pay them to design logos, banners, signs and many more things. I would want the name to be something incorporating "Workshop" or "Drafting."

Snow Days

Over the snow days we had, I did some things in my free time. On Friday, I spent the day drawing and practicing art skills and it was more a wind down day and relaxing. During Saturday, I got working on my homework and got most of it done and used the rest of the time to draw more. On Sunday, My family and a friend took me out to dinner to Red Lobster for my birthday that was on January 21st.  Due to icy road conditions, we again had Monday off from school as well. I used most of this time to relax, but fit in small chunks of time to study and go over vocab words I needed to know. Today on Tuesday we only got called a 3 hr delay. While main roads were clear and free of ice, many back roads and walkways as well as school parking lots were covered in a sheet of ice. I don't think it was too safe to call a 3 hr delay and I don't think we should have made our way to school today,
